Frank Tate and Charlie Koon Named to Southeastern Employment and Training Association Board of Directors


CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – December 8, 2020 –The Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council (EDC) is pleased to share Frank Tate, Executive Director of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board, and Charlie Koon, Vice President/Director of Corporate and Military Business Development at F&M Bank, have been named to the Southeastern Employment and Training Association (SETA) Board of Directors. Tate will serve the board as the Tennessee State Representative for a two-year term from 2020-2022, and Koon will serve as the Tennessee Board Representative for a one-year term from 2020-2021. 

The Southeastern Employment & Training Association (SETA) is a non-profit organization comprised of approximately 1,500 members from eight states across the southeast region representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. SETA provides professional opportunities for workforce development in the areas of Training, Networking, Workforce Development Best Practices, and Legislation impacting the workforce. In addition, during the Spring and Fall, SETA holds conferences and webinars to inform members on the changing landscape of workforce development. 

“Serving on the SETA board is a great opportunity for collaboration and the development of new ideas to enhance our state and regional workforce," said Frank Tate, Executive Director of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board.

“I look forward to serving on the SETA board of directors as the private sector representative for the state of Tennessee. As the Vice President/Director of Corporate & Military Business Development at F&M Bank, I am excited to bring a unique perspective to workforce development conversations throughout the region,” said Charlie Koon.
