The Clarksville metropolitan statistical area (MSA) ranked 19^th in the nation for fastest job growth. A report released today from 24/7 Wall St., a Delaware-based financial news company, studied employment and job growth from October 2015 to October 2016 for 387 metro areas and announced the top 25 U.S. cities.

As part of AT&T’s continuing efforts to drive economic development and investment in Tennessee, AT&T and representatives from the Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council and the City of Clarksville today announced that the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park, which includes Business Park South and Business Park North, has been designated AT&T Fiber Ready.

Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd along with Verstraete IML USA officials announced today the company will locate a new facility in Clarksville. The in-mold labeling manufacturer will invest $20 million and create 59 new jobs in Montgomery County.

Estimates released today from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey show Clarksville’s population at 149,120. Just shy of the 150,000 mark, this growth reflects an 11.6% increase over the past five years.
