Montgomery County offers a variety of cultural, educational, employment and business opportunities. Our county has grown from a small, agricultural community to an impressive blend of residential, commercial and corporate citizens. We are the proud home of Fort Campbell, home to the 101st Airborne Division and 160th Special Operations Aviation Unit, and Austin Peay State University, both which have a significant impact on our community and offer great opportunities for our citizens.

We have numerous annual events that showcase our history and heritage, and foster the spirit of Montgomery County, that are enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. As you browse our site, I trust you will see that Montgomery County is a great place to live, work and play.  This website is just one avenue for information regarding Montgomery County - we also have a Facebook page, Montgomery County, Tennessee, and a Twitter page,#mcgtn, where you can find up-to-date information on events and happenings in our community. We invite you to follow us on any or all of these avenues. I hope you find our website helpful and informative, and that you enjoy Montgomery County as much as I do!
