COVID-19 - Google Tennessee Resources

Google.org, the philanthropic arm, committed $800 million + to support small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), health organizations and governments, and health workers on the frontline of this global pandemic (details are at this link). This also includes a $10 million Distance Learning Fund to help students continue to learn around the globe. In partnership with the WHO, the team made a $5 million donation and will be matching up to $5 million in public donations to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.  On top of that, Google.org also made a $500,000 grant to a team of researchers, epidemiologists, and software developers at Boston Children's Hospital working on HealthMap, a website that provides up-to-date trends of emerging public health threats and outbreaks.
